The Ukrainian-Polish Literary Dialogue of Intermilitary Period: The Tendencies, Contexts, «Mechanisms» of Contacts
Abstract: The article contains the analysis of tendencies and historical and political contexts of ukrainian-polish literary dialogue of intermilitary period, historical and literary interpretation of pre-conditions and «mechanisms» of such dialogue in Poland and in Ukraine. Tradition of Ukrainian presentation and autopresentation of Ukrainian literature to Polish public, also as the translating activity are interpretated as main «mechanisms» of such dialogue. The special attention is concentrated on the conception and activity of magazine «Polish-Ukraine Bulletin» as qualitatively and ideological higher level of dialogue and mutual understanding.
