Stefanyka (Proceedings of Lviv Stefanyk Scientific Library) was established in 1992 р.

Is issued annually.
The journal is included to the List of scientific professional publications of the Ministry of Education and Science of
Ukraine from 28.12.2017 № 1714 in which the main results of dissertation works in Social Communications can be published.

Publishes the results of researches conducted in Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine on theory and methodology of book science, librarianship, information science, source science, biography, history of publishing, culturology, art criticism, musicology, conservation and restoration of heritage sites.
The journal publishes original papers and book reviews.
Articles are published in Ukrainian, English and Polish languages.
Publication is recommended by Academic Board of Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv.
