Private library of the Julian Medvetskyi in the collections of Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv
Abstract: The composition and historical destiny of the book collection of the famous geologist and mineralogist, founder of the Ukrainian geological science in Galicia, the first ukrainian rector Lviv Polytechnic School, public figure — Julian Medvetskyi are considered. Revealed signs by which it is possible to completely reconstruct this assembly. The scientific, historical and cultural value of this private library is generalized.
