Retrospective of state-building competitions of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic in Western Ukrainian and Ukrainian diaspora publications in the 1930s
Abstract: The article analyzes Western Ukrainian and Ukrainian diaspora publications from the 1930s containing materials about the liberation movement of 1917– 1921. The article deals with military-historical works and memoirs, which depict the stages of the formation of the Ukrainian armed forces and the process of the formation of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic.
